... Bike Snob NYC just makes me chuckle. Today was one of those days. From the latest episode:

  • [Justice Stephen Breyer is] "like the Cadel Evans of the Supreme Court."
  • [an idiot] "is riding straight down the middle, shouting "On your left!" to anything and everything within earshot."
  • [everybody sporting] "spackled-on skunk stripes the width of fat bike tires on everybody because all the snow was finally melting but nobody in New York has ever heard of "fenders""

Why can't John Kass be this good?

Maybe it's just lack of sleep. I'll let you decide.

It's hilarious, but I'm also sleep deprived.

Sometimes Bike Snob just annoys me, but this is a good one.

Classic!

What party did everyone go to that all of you except me are sleep deprived:))

I didn't go to any parties, but I was at West Town Bikes last night for open shop. Perhaps that explains it, but I suspect not.

I have a daily party with 17 month old twins.

it's kinda a party during open shop :))

Last night I discovered True Detective on HBO and watched the first three episodes starting late to begin with. Well worth the deprivation!

Ari and I discovered The Good Wife. Same problem.  We say only 2 episodes and next thing I know it's 3am (happened Sat night).

Judging by what I saw on Monday he's right about the fender bit.  Most people were afraid of the storm to ride yesterday.

"The worst person out there by far though was the guy riding a brakeless fixie--which I didn't even think people did anymore--who was coming straight at me on the wrong side of the bike pathwhile using his phone."

I've seen those guys riding while wearing earbuds/headphones. Some people drink,smoke,do drugs...atleast that might be a quick death.
