Hello Chainlinkers!

It's been a long time since we connected. Took a backseat while keeping the lights on for rides and posts to continue. For a while, since The Chainlink does require resources to keep the lights on, it was a wait and see moment - waiting to see if it made sense to keep it going. 

We're getting back to the roots of the site. There are so many orgs focused on advocacy that it feels like that is now well-covered. It's also a hard beat to cover. So The Chainlink is about the joy of riding. Organizing & promoting rides and great things to do on a bike. Some will be charity rides, some will just be fun & free community rides. As always, if you have a ride, post it! The Events calendar is easy to use.

One note - I don't want the site to become a spam posting site so please, don't promote your business on the site with content like "half off bikes", etc. I will remove posts like that. If you have a ride for your shop or business, by all means, please post it here. 

Have some ideas of what you'd like to see? Post it! Let's keep it positive and upbeat - in keeping with the joy of riding. Sure, if you have a vent, feel free to share but please make sure to be kind to one another. We have enough hassle to deal with on the road with cars; let's prop one another up. Have a great summer!!
