Did anyone else see the previews for the new bike messenger being chased by bad cops movie with Joseph Gordon-Levitt?

Thought it was a FUN movie.  If you want to see a movie with action, intrigue and lots of bikes, allow yourself a bit of escapism and just enjoy.

As with musical bands announcing "the more you drink, the better we sound" I think it's fair to say the more you drink the better that movie gets.

My favorite part were the split second scenarios of what would be the best route to take in order to not get creamed.

  I like what happens to the cop.. Levitt did some fancy biking skills, and ditto on the split seconds decisions.

It was entertaining. My GFs response sums it up nicely, she thought it would cast cyclists in a negative light due to the red light/ stop sign running but when I asked her if she wanted to go on a ride after she said "hell yes"( I added the hell to the yes). Also, I don't think many anti-cyclist types watched this movie so no worry about any backlash.

+1 to Juan's comment. (Also, what is up with the mileage after people's names? Just curious.)

Gotta call out the stunt work of trials-god Danny McCaskill in the parking garage scene!  At least they hired the best in the business!

I'll give it 3 of 5. 

Action great, story line and congruity...not so much.

He did all those tricks in the garage with broken/bruised ribs?

The scene where he rode down Broadway from 116th was repeated to make it seem like a longer chase? 

The ONLY part of Manhattan where the subway runs above ground is 125th where he dipped out to avoid the Beemer. (heading south in the chase scene)

And somehow all this took place in an hour and a half and he still delivered the message!?

As with a lot of action movies, it requires some suspension of disbelief.
