I was crossing a 4-way residential intersection on foot two nights ago with a driver waiting for me... I heard an engine gun and tires squeal and knew before I turned around that the car waiting after the one who let a pedestrian cross wigged out and went around the first car to storm the intersection (that I was still in.)

I didn't expect it to be a cop.

Wrong Potbelly....this is on Dearborn, just south of Monroe.

Right. The building address is 55 W Monroe.  Either way, it's in the 1st district. And the beat tag on top of the light bar (critical identifier) is 112.

I drove up Dearborn at around 2:30 today and the bike lane was untouched.

I'm not even surprised by this anymore. I was at the intersection on Dearborn & Wacker, and had a cop start to turn into me despite the fact that he had a red light.

Sounds like the test of the new "non-removal" snow management technique  on the south and west sides was deemed a success, and now they're expanding the technique to other parts of the city.
