Share your pics, videos, streets, stories of what you find in the bike lane of the non-bike variety that has an impact on your ride and/or your safety. I've decided to keep it a little more open ended - cars, snow, buses, garbage, cabs, etc. If they shouldn't be in the bike lane, go ahead and add it to this thread. Please be safe if you are taking pics or video! :-)
My hope is that we can collectively build some evidence of what we see when riding in the city with the overall hope of better enforcement of "bikes only" and improving maintenance.
Update: More Hashtags to Capture Vehicles in the Bike Lane
With popular hashtags:
#BikeLaneShaming
#LaneSpreading (Chicago Bike Selling)
#ClearTheWay (ActiveTrans), there are many options to capture violations.
We think you should use ALL of them AND post your photos on The Chainlink. ;-)

Only the Horse Shit!! Aren't they required to wear "bum-bags"??
I encountered actual horse shit in the Clybourn lane (northbound) yesterday...so I guess not.
I followed one yesterday late afternoon. Not sure why they want to go down Clybourn; it's not very scenic. If they drove in the main traffic lane, where there is really no place for drivers to pass, I imagine a cop would tell them to get in the bike lane.
Saw one of my more favorite blocks this AM. Out of Service CTA bus parked in the Harrison St bike lane just east of Dearborn. Driver exits the Starbucks, playing on phone, slowly wanders back to the bus. Sadly was too far away for a decent picture from my phone.
Not a bike lane, but just as much Wtf.
I was at that support rally. One bicycle went by and traffic was slow enough that it just took the traffic lane. As a matter of fact, she was honking her horn in support.
"One bicycle" is what the guy in the beer truck said to me this morning as I was forced to take the lane while he unloaded in the middle of the bike lane.
Nonetheless, it's a very odd choice to show your support for law and order by breaking the law.
