New road hazard to report - going west on Glenview Rd., just east of Wagner - Apples!

I came this close (I'm holding two fingers close together while typing) to ending up in applesauce. Even worse, nothing buy pie on my mind for the rest of the ride home.

Mmmmm...pie...

So..,um, yesterday, I saw flakes around 5:45 pm near Roosevelt and Wabash. Does this mean I drank in it to win it's kool aid? Ooo yeah! No snow seen during this am ride.

YES! 

Braved the cold (I'm a summer person...) in order to get back to commuting- first time since my accident! Take that asshat expedition driver. Take that sprained ankle! (Actually, it felt really good for the sprain, some nice stretching while pedaling and putting a little weight on tip toe at stop lights seem to be what I need!) 

Only rode my 5.3 mile commute, but I feel SO GOOD. All smiles.

First time by choice I have ridden in weather this cold, and yesterday.  It was only for commuting but hey, I don't have to sit in traffic because of the construction on the railroad crossing by my work!  Totally worth it if that's all I gain.
