Does anyone know if Wrightwood Ave west of Clark through Racine will get bike lanes or at least "sharrows?"

This stretch has been under construction the entire summer and it seems like a prime opportunity to make this street more bike friendly since there aren't any easy east-west routes in north Lincoln Park.

As two way streets go it's very narrow.  Safer that Fullerton, sure, but Armitage is the best option in that area.

Agreed it's very narrow. Bike lane or no, this will never be what I consider to be a "bike-friendly" east-west route.

I agree with Kevin, but if you ride at a pace that keeps up with traffic and do not end up stuck behind a bunch of it, it's quite all right.

The only plus is that often traffic is pretty slow, since it's a very narrow street. But yeah, it pretty much sucks. Someone tried to kill me on Wrightwood by stopping her car short just in front of me, quite intentionally, just last winter when the roads were slick. I was barely able to stop without slamming into the back of her car, and then she drove off.
