I have a need for an evening coffee stop somewhere along Western Ave.

Last week I ended up getting off the Western bus at Belmont and walking to Leavitt-- very bad Starbucks... and a mile+ walk carrying an instrument...

Anyplace to get a 'real' espresso drink between the Pink line and Irving?

Hmmm... interesting. I'll have to ask my wife and let you know what she says... she's been a Starbucks employee for over 12 years, in 3 states.

+1 to Ipsento.

If it's Starbucks you're looking for, you're about to get your wish!

Another one raising his hand for Ipsento. My favorite is....the Ipsento, which is a coconut-milk latte with a little chili in it.

There is one on Western - a fancy new drive thru - but it's north of Lincoln Square.

Ipsento is definitely worth checking out - but not if you are in a hurry.

Yes.   Mariano's serves "vero" Coffee in its Grocery Stores.   Its good.  Starbuck just off of Western at Elston as well.

On Chicago about 1.5 blocks west of Western.

They are going to put in a starbucks where they just tore down the car wash north of Roscoe on Western.

What instrument?

+100 for Ipsento

+Ipsento as well.

Lots of bike racks out front!

Star Lounge brews Dark Matter and Dark Matter roasts right on Western just south of Chicago. They're open to the public for caffeination during the day but they seem to close fairly early in the evening.
