The Ladies are planning a Tour de Divvy

Here we go again--calling all women who bike to a Women Bike Chicago social event on July 25, 2013 at 6:00.  Starting at the Divvy station on Randolph between Clark and LaSalle, we are going to learn about Divvy, have a social ride, and end up at Simone's at 18th and Morgan.  There will be some free snacks!  And, there is a Divvy station right outside Simone's!

Ladies only!  No need to ask John's permission. ;-)  But Divvy is sending a female "ambassador to 'splain it all to us.

I'll be attending this ride! I see on the Facebook page that a dozen ladies have already RSVP'd, so hopefully it will be a good turnout. I'm also hoping there will be others who would like to ride east on 18th St to get to the Lakefront Trail after a drink at Simone's. I'm not very familiar with that route and it would be nice to have company.

Not sure I can make it--but if I do, I'd ride east to the LFT with you afterwards.

Sounds like there may not be enough Divvy bikes to go around! :)

Michelle and Lizzy, if we take our own bikes we can have a caravan of black Linuses! :-)  I will be heading that way, too.

We  have alerted Divvy of start and stop times and locations so they can do their best to be sure there are bikes there and open spaces when we arrive.  Just in case, we are working out nearby alternative stations for the Divvy bikes so anyone who wants to ride can.  We are planning a route with a couple of stops at Divvy Stations along the way to be sure everyone can re-dock to stay within the 30 minute time limit.  Weather should be perfect.  And we have food ordered to be waiting for us at Simone's when we arrive!  Beverage of your choice is on your own, however. :-)
