Here is my latest bike re-build, wanted to see if anyone here was interested. I could also include a custom built wooden crate for the back. Hardwood, made from scratch, no pic yet.

Please let em know if you can't see the pics below, I am using picassa and not sure how well the code works. Thanks

Rebuilt, updated Single Speed Mixte, New Kevlar tires, Chain, Seat, Seatpost, Brake Levers, Grips

I removed the gaudy stickers and re-painted the lettering. Custom adapted cargo rack. The fenders are custom built, by me, laminated exotic hardwood fenders.

Pick up just off of the blue line Oak Park stop, or just off of the 290 express way. Cash Only, $220

Curious what you used as a spacer for the rear rack assembly? Looks like a wood block with the center carved out for bolt access and maybe part of the fender? I have a similar issue getting the same rack onto my '68 Racer. I'm gonna have to make my own mounting bracket and this helps me think about what I'm gonna do.

Nice Build BTW.
Yeah it is simply a block of walnut. The cutout was or the nut and a flange that the "brake" bridge had. There were three holes in the bridge to begin with. Just make sure you use a hard wood and long enough screws that have a good bite to them and it will be plenty stable.

Let me know if you need any help fabricating this.

Those pletscher racks are real practical. I took a long bolt, cut off the head and threaded both ends. Makes for a simple and very low cost solution:

Maybe you can also post the asking price? Or did I miss it....

The size is 50cm and the asking price is $220
Very nice On2! It looks like your fender attachments have gotten a little more solid since your first ones, too. Alas, we're not in the market for another bike right now.
Thanks For noticing. I wanted to replicate honjo's system for the stays from scratch. It worked pretty well.
