Bob Kastigar you did the same thing as last year?

i'm open to someone else starting this thread, but the proper title isn't title case and isn't a question. :-)

nice to see you still have your sense of humor :-)

2170.6 after Twelfth Step Ride. extrapolation for 2021 down more, to 2289.8.

That's a few more miles than me. ;) Congrats!

Current mileage. I suspect there will be a handful of  miles this week.

Distance

2,226.4 mi

This is down about 15% from last year but about median for the last five.  Way less miles on long rides and way more commuting rides of just a few miles. Has Covid changed your rides?

Not bad.

I rode more in 2021 than in 2020, largely because more destinations were open and bathrooms were more available. I took more rides over 10 miles and rode on more days. It's still not like a "normal" (pre pandemic) year, but it's better than 2020.

7450 outdoor miles for 2021, exceeding my goal of 7300.

Correction 7474

5065.0 miles cycled in 2021 after 283.4 miles (234.8 outdoor / 48.6 indoor) in December.

811 consecutive days cycled since 10/13/2019!

End of times. Finished the calendar year this afternoon with a leisurely 40 miler in the cool drizzle up to Evanston and back to Hyde Park on my "new" old Klein Quantum Race, which I dubbed my new hole in my head. That gave me 337 miles on the month of December and 5,620 road miles on the year with a mere 14 Perimeter Rides. This was my lightest mileage since 2014 (and 3,632 fewer miles than 2020), but this was not due to the endless endless pandemic.

Goals for 2022?? While I have a litany, mileage is not one. Moving is on the short list, which will consume a great deal of mental and physical energy to prepare for.  We will see where the road takes me.

2021 was 3503 miles total, 23% less than 2020 thanks to a car left hook on 5/26/2021! :(

11181 outdoor miles in 2021

2223.4 on my bike (with estimates of when the computer was down) (all outside) + 611 on divvy (mostly divv-e) = 2834.4 total. compared to last year: 3.5% less on my bike but almost 4x as much on divvy = 7.5% more total. good enough!
