I have a need for an evening coffee stop somewhere along Western Ave.
Last week I ended up getting off the Western bus at Belmont and walking to Leavitt-- very bad Starbucks... and a mile+ walk carrying an instrument...
Anyplace to get a 'real' espresso drink between the Pink line and Irving?

Hmmm... interesting. I'll have to ask my wife and let you know what she says... she's been a Starbucks employee for over 12 years, in 3 states.
+1 to Ipsento.
If it's Starbucks you're looking for, you're about to get your wish!
Another one raising his hand for Ipsento. My favorite is....the Ipsento, which is a coconut-milk latte with a little chili in it.
Thanks all.
The bus was dog-slow tonight so I had to make do with the most god-awful burnt 7-11 coffee from Grace and Western rather than make a special stop... at least it was only a dollar.
Interesting news about the new Starbucks....I wonder how it will affect Lane Tech's test score averages.
Yes. Mariano's serves "vero" Coffee in its Grocery Stores. Its good. Starbuck just off of Western at Elston as well.
Not sure I'd call that "just off Western" when traveling by transit/foot.
That's a somewhet huge hike into a transit hole. Would probably choose the Panera over it, if Western and Logan wasn't such a nasty place to wait for a bus.
