Pedicab chauffeur license feePedicab chauffeurs — the bicyclists you see transporting happy-go-lucky tourists in neon-lit rickshaws downtown — will have to pay a lot more for their two-year licenses — from $5 to $40, or a 700% increase.The city issues roughly 7,200 such licenses a year, according to the budget office.The big bump for chauffeurs amounts to just $108,000 extra cash for the city next year.See More

Bob,  I can live without most of the things Ghostery suppresses (facebook, twitter integration, tracker cookies, certain ads). And if I 'need' to see a particular component, I just add an exception.

I run Ghostery in combo with AdBlock Plus. I rarely see ads anymore.

Do you think it's worth it to buy/carry "Round Lake Michigan: A Bicyclist's Tour Guide"? I don't have a smartphone or garmin or anything so I thought the maps in here might prove useful.

That would be great to look at and help plan my GIT adventure! its my first ride that's more then a few days long (week or more). I convinced my girlfriend to come with so Im really excited.
