Sounds like a nasty crash with a long recovery.

More likely, it sounds like he collided with a salmoning cyclist; has anyone confirmed Alec Baldwin's whereabouts at the time of the crash?

 

Seriously though, wishing Bono a smooth recovery from a nasty sounding accident.
