If only Richard's bike didn't get stuck in the mire...

I'm always sorry to hear about a loss of human life, but seriously, going into battle in 15th century England without wearing a helmet? Really? What do you expect?

But wait, he's not dead yet. ;)

Credible scientific studies have proven that inbreeding impairs judgement.

But guess what? No stab wounds on his body, thanks to his armor.

No that we settled the helmet debate, I think we should have an open and honest discussion on whether cyclists should wear armor. :)

I sometimes question whether I am doing the same in Chicago traffic on a bicycle.....although that maybe more along the lines of the Polish Calvary's attack on horseback against German armored tanks and Panzers.

"The investigators conclude that three of the injuries -- two inflicted to the inferior aspect, or underside, of the king's skull and one to his pelvis -- could have potentially caused death quickly."

He might of needed better pelvis armor.

When I read this article this morning, I was horrified by the fact he was wounded 11 times by DIFFERENT KINDS OF WEAPONS. I mean they used a hook, a spear, a sword, some kind of axe and even a dagger? Then the armor was cutting him after the fact. What Hell, as is the Hell of war...

Under Armour?

And then, after bashing his head in, it seems someone shoved his own sword up his ass...

That's what I call a royal flush.

Methinks someone didn't like him.
