Hey! Did I ride in with you last year from Evanston? Anyone organizing the north suburb trek?

Pre- in! I am looking forward to drinking coffee with all the commuters. I hope my bike remembers me. I have been mostly an indoor rider the past couple weeks.

Post- I hope so. If the day goes well I will share a few Revolutions before cycling home.

I did...and I am. We leave from the Dunking Donuts at Howard/Western at 630 am. Come ride with us.

Weather forecast is for a pretty chilly morning.  Start gearing up now so the poor folks from Active Trans are not standing out there freezing all by themselves!

Jeepers. What happened to lows in the 20's?

Cheesecake for breakfast?!  Heck yes I'll be there.

Any morning celebration take place in Evanston too?

That was so yesterday!  If we get lucky, it will be tomorrow, too.  I really don't mind riding in it, but I hate standing around in it.

I'll be there with our winterized commuter bike, nicknamed "The Polar Bear" - Belt drive and disc brakes.

Come say Hi!

I'll be riding in from Hyde Park. Cheesecake sounds great. Hope to meet some folks as I am new to town and Chicago winters (coming from SF).

Forgot to mention that I will be coming in from Oak Park if anyone would like to join me.

Too bad we won't have our Chainlink jerseys yet.  I don't know if those of us who know each other are going to be able to recognize one another under the goggles, etc. :-)  Maybe we should identify our bikes.  Levi should be fairly easy to recognize on his Polar Bear.  I will be riding the world's smallest grey Long Haul Trucker.

I may well ride to work but nowhere near any chainlinkers. There is no doubt that I will not ride into the city to meet people.
