bicycling community in Amsterdam?

Just returned From A Week In Amsterdam. So Very Different Riding There! Wondering Though, Because I Couldn't Catch A Glimmer Of It (DesPite Talking Around At Some Bike Shops), Is There A Bicycling Community? Getting About By Bike Is Mainstream There And This Clearly Impacts Culture And Subculture.

I think the 'bicycling community' there can fairly be described as 'everybody' - I doubt there is very much of a specialized community(ies) there like there are in North America, because it is simply how people get around. I'm sure there are the usual roadies, etc. though.
