Best wool socks ever.

Chrome has some decently-priced wool socks in various lengths. I'm currently rocking the OTC socks.

Amling Cycle on Milwaukee has some interesting neoprene leg wraps (about ten bucks each) that might work for ya.

Despite having dressed in lighter clothes, I was overdressed!

Yea i was a little over dressed as well, but it was a nice ride otherwise.

It'e pretty warm today.  No sweater needed.  Yesterday was a bit wet but not too bad.  I'm hoping the break in rain between four and seven tonight that accu-weather predicted holds.

Nice first ride in the MILD.

Don't know what kind of wind that was this morning.  Weather people say it was NNW, but even though I was riding south and east it seemed every time I was near a building that was more than three stories it was in my face!

my last friday commute to the burbs. the north bound uphill ride in wood dale was rather miserable.

Yes!  The wind assist was lovely, even if it meant an earlier exit from the path than usual.  Good start to Friday.

Nice ride from the north this morning and with the cold weather, Wells was quite empty, except for the cabbies.

Last night went I went for a professional bike fitting. My trusty steed was adjusted to include the new measurements.

This morning, my LHT all of a sudden felt like a speed demon. The wind in the back ay have helped too.
