I have passed your interest on to somebody I know who may be selling soon.

However, it is only fair to warn you that Bromptons retain quite their value quite well. Expect to pay quite a bit for one unless it is in pretty rough shape. Also try to avoid the ones with the Sachs hubs as they are a little harder to get parts for.

Personally, and I am biased because I work at a Brompton dealer, I would recommend new so you get a shop to stand behind the bike along with the purchase. You get a lot of support for what is not a terribly huge premium.

Thanks, DUG. I appreciate your passing along the info to the person who might be selling soon, and I appreciate your recommendation regarding getting a new one, bias notwithstanding. I'll write you a private message. Meanwhile, if anyone else can also help with a used one, I'd appreciate other leads as well.
