The raffle tickets were for a brand new bicycle!  BUT since you had to be there to get it AND since we were biking to WORK and not to goof off in Daley Plaza all day, no one was expected to win it!

The band was a group called the Kodiak Farm Boys from the Raleigh-Durham area. That was my favorite part of the whole thing and it made my morning. I love old-time music!

It was nice to meet a few of you Chainlinkers this morning at the rally, and also nice to run into two of my old friends. (I was the dork with the yellow Birdy folding bike.)

SO SORRY once again to the guy who owns the (really expensive looking) road bike that I accidentally bumped my bike into! {blush}

What happened with the road bike guy mentioned above was: I was looking one way while the guy was looking the other way and I was slowly walking my bike through the crowd. My handle bars got tangled up in his handlebars!! OOPS! He was really cool about it and chuckled and said "I guess our bikes like each other!" I was thankful he was really cool about it! If you're reading this... sorry once again!

I missed the band and missed grabbing a 312 seat cover, but I think I have one from last year, and I really don't need a cover anyways since I just fold up and carry my bike indoors wherever I go.

You got a 312 seat cover? Nice! I didn't see those, but I did get a 312 shower cap...
