Never had a problem before...but since I've started riding my bike everywhere, I get carsick when I'm in a car. Every time I just want to get out and bike!
I think that some people are vulnerable to it to varying degrees, while others don't seem affected by it at all. I don't think it has anything to do with cycling.

I have never experienced motion sickness in any vehicle. Why might it be that cyclists are more prone to motion sickness in vehicles?
Buses are worse if you sit at the back, but that may be because being over or behind the rear axle makes the motion worse. The back of a car was always worse for me than the front, and a friend's car with a dark interior was particularly upsetting. I have also (now) heard that it is down to the conflict between the inner ear and what your eyes are telling you - eliminating this conflict by looking out of a window or shutting your eyes helps enormously (or, at least, it helps me). On t'other hand, reading while I am in a car makes me queasy every time - I can't even look at a map for long!
I get motion sickness pretty bad when I'm in a car as a passenger. It's gotten to the point where I avoid riding in cars as much as possible (which is easy, with the bike and all).
