"Strategic Communications Manager," eh? Thanks for your ongoing commitment to The Chainlink.

I tried to apply for this offer, but was denied because I haven't had my current license for 3 consecutive years. Although I have had a valid DL for about 14 out of the last 16 years and only 1 moving violation during that time.

I'm sure a lot of dedicated car-free people can identify with my frustration.

Sounds impressive, right? :) I love the ChainLink. I'm a new biker and the forums, event info, etc. is really helpful!

Sorry about that. It's probably an insurance thing for us. We would make you a member if we could!  Did you talk to member services? (773) 278-4446.

I've been an I-Go member for 5 1/2 years now, and my overall experience has been very good.  I've rarely had a car be unavailable at the reserved time, and when it's happened, the customer service rep has been prompt and helpful.

On those occasions when I need an I-Go car, I really appreciate having it as an available option.

Anne Alt: Thanks for the kind I-GO words! Don't forget that you can get $20 in driving credit if you refer someone to the deal happening right now. http://www.igocars.org/how/chicago-card-plus-i-go-card/
