Bike Lane on Madison . . .

Looks like the westbound lane is continuing; new paint takes it over to the N/S Wacker intersection and hopefully over the bridge . . .

Hopefully on and on and on. If CDOT can extend it through the city, Oak Park is planning on installing the suburbs' first cycle track come Spring-time. Beyond that Forest Park is in the process of approving a plan which would connect Madison Ave. to the Prairie Path via a bicycle route. From there you could get alllllll the way out to Kane County.

Now, I don't get out of the city much, but this is still a pretty exciting opportunity and would open up a lot of transportation options for people in the near-west suburbs which is pretty dern exciting if you ask me.
