Martha Williams celebrates the one-year anniversary of her Chicago bicycle fashion photo blog Bike Fancy tomorrow, Saturday, November 12, with the Bike Fancy/Eskell Birthday Bash at Eskell Boutique, 1509 N. Milwaukee Avenue, from 5 - 8 pm.

Grid Chicago caught up with Martha to discuss the history and future of the blog, and to learn why buttonholing cyclists to take their pictures requires a similar skill set as robbing people:

I contacted her pre-Grid Chicago to talk about making actual posters or a campaign for it. She was interested, but not ready (we agreed on certain things that need to happen to support such a campaign).
