Frame size?
From the middle of the bottom braket up to the seat post.
Nottingham bikes are fairly easy to size just by a picture. Look at the head tube. If it is long like this one then it is a 23" If it is substanially shorter then it is a 21."
The 19" size in the Diamond framed Nottingham bikes (at least on bikes with the 650A/E.A. 3 wheel size) is almost unheard of on this side of the Atlantic. So it's basically an ID choice between the 21" and the 23" and the two are easily differentiated even when not next to each other.
The step-through frames are slightly harder to suss out. They came in 19" and 21" here. Like the 19" Diamond-frame the 23" step-through is so rare here that they can be considered unobtainium.
That's a nice Humber. I don't like the seat though. I am not sure if there is supposed to be a fill pie-plate insert in that full chaincase or not over the chainwheel . It looks nice without it but I think the plate would make it more functional. Shouldn't the front wheel be flipped so the dyno faces the drive side? Or is that a Humber thing?
If I had room I'd be tempted.
