What's your funniest ever moment while riding a bike? Was it local or while traveling?

Mine was several years ago on a visit to Savannah, GA. I was riding on one of the main streets in downtown Savannah and was waiting at a red light, wearing my Tour de Stooges jersey. (Yes, I'm a Three Stooges fan.) As I waited, I heard "nyuk nyuk nyuk" from my left. I turned and saw a guy sitting in a pickup truck left to me, laughing a bit. I responded "woooo woooo woooo wooo." He laughed again. I laughed. The light changed. We both went on our way with a smile.

BTW, I thought Savannah was a great place to ride. They do have some bike events there (like this century). They also have a good network of bike lanes and signed bike routes, and drivers were generally reasonable.

mine was about 10 years back in Philadelphia.  i was riding my bike from my job to my girlfriends to meet up for lunch.  i was riding on my new (and first) fixie.  as i was going through the 'gayborhood', my pant leg got caught in the chain ring and effectively ripped my pant leg off.  it was hanging at the middle belt loop on the rear.  i had about another mile to go to her workplace.  i wasnt wearing underwear.  i got a few cat calls from the locals.  i then ran into my gf's store, grabbed a pair of pants off the shelf and ran into the fitting room.

wasnt funny to me at the moment.  i look back and giggle tho.

Waiter: May I take your order?

Pants-eating fixie: Just half a pair of pants today - I'm on a diet.

two for me:

Once, riding up sheridan in Rodgers park at a good clip when a CPD cruiser takes a right turn right in front of me.  He knocks me down.  After a heartfelt apology, and a quick check to make sure I'm alright, I let him go.  As I remount my bike, a couple of black folks waiting for the bus start up: " I can't believe you let him off... they would never give you a break... you didn't even get his badge.... man, you should have givin it to him...."   Oh well, I thought didn't need the hassle.

Another was riding down the the LFP when I looked down and saw that my little finger was suddenly broken and and parallel to my l bars.  I stopped and figured out I had crashed, blacked out, got on my bike and started riding again.  My front tire had gone soft so I started to change the tube.  A biker rode by and asked if I needed help, I said no.  What seemed like five minutes later he returned and asked if I was alright.  Sure I said. He said it was an hour since he passed me last. I laughed and called for my wife to take me to the hospital where I was told I concussed my temporal lobe.

SCARY!

Glad you can look back and laugh at both of those incidents. (At least I think you are given the thread title.)

I was biking near a big intersection a year ago in mid winter. It was during the day and a bunch of cars in what seemed like all directions had been stuck in the mid day jam. Well it being snowy there was was looked like a powdery mound of snow that a plow left in/off the road and cars were swerving. well instead of going around it or pulling a XC dismount and jump over I tried a mountain bike like ride over/through...
The snow was neither fluffy or slushy or soft, rather it was extremely hard ice and I went over the handlbars. Landed face first in a fresher pile of snow behind the first. I was ok but...

Needless to say I gave at least 20+ drivers(who could see me) a reason to smile. Even got a window to roll down and a laugh from everyone in the car (kids).

What doesn't kill you makes for funny stories!
Seriously.  We moved from "funny" to "absolutely terrible".
