Anyone feel like meeting up noonish/one-ish on Sunday for an inaugural eat and ride? I'm woefully ignorant of great places around in which to dine, so I'll let the destination be decided democratically. Also, and maybe this will tempt more people to attend, I have beaucoups leftovers from yesterday- Turducken, hot boudin, seafood stuffing- and I'd love to share the love with my fellow Chainlinkers.

How about the totem pole on the lakefront path 'round Recreation Drive?
I'm up for it! Just need to be in Evanston by 5 PM ish. Totem pole starting place at 12 or 1 works too.
Great! I want to go to Walker brothers... but I'm up in Evanston, so come up here :)
Well after all the anticipation I will miss the inaugural ride since I was creamed on Wednesday by a nut of an old woman and me and my bicycle are out of commission (bike forever). Enjoy the eats!
Oooh, that sounds fun. I definitely need a ride after this week. So noon?

Sorry to hear that Gabe. Hope you weren't injured too badly.
Does anyone have a tandem for Gabe?

Jamimaria- the calendar says start time is 12:30.

Stupid stabby weather.

No one else was up to getting stabbed in the face by the rain?

Jason and I agreed that another attempt should be made on a nicer day with a meeting place more inland, so keep a lookout on the calendar.

This thread caused this weather.

Haha, no, I think it was Murphy's fault.
Thanks Julie, i don't think I would be able to hold onto the handlebars the way my shoulder is. ;-( I would need to be strapped to the bike. ;-)
