Hey Jason -- I have a friend who transferred to NOLA to work for a govt job and is looking for an apt. I remember you posted something about the difficulty of finding an apt down there, but you ended up being pretty happy with the place you found. What service or company did you use? I'd like to pass the reference on to her.

Thanks!

Hey Jason,

I don't have a phone at the moment, but I am pretty open today - I can stop by anytime between now and 2pm and then again after 5pm.

The frozen Midwest, for sure! I'm a native Austinite and not built for this climate... but I'm also a chef, and heading the opening team for Rick Bayless's new restaurant, Xoco. Hence, the reason I'm now trying to embrace Chicago winters, and own way more fleece and Gore-Tex than I ever thought humanly possible. Did you ever go on rides in the Hill Country (Dripping Springs, Wimberly, Blanco) with the Austin Cycling Association?? I'd love to find 20ish mile loops, with mostly uninterrupted country roads, to cruise on Sundays-- suggestions?? There's already a few on this thread that I might check out.
