Oh.

To explain the reason no more virtual version of the tours went up, there were two issues:

1 - photo archiving problems. The original filing system sucked. A back up system failed. My attempts to piece things together have proved too frutstrating, and
2 - the time it took to put one together was disproporationate to the things i was interested in doing.

I am searching for a blogular way to do it and will probably just relaunch my blog doing that stuff.

In the interim, I am going out and redoing about 8 tours on sunny days. I will be re-doing the following rides for the purpose of photo-documenting each property discussed in the tours. The days must be sunny or I can't get good shots.

Forest Glen, North Center, Austin, Hyde Park, Lincoln Square, North Park and West Town.

If you missed any of these tours, or would like to check them out again, give me a shout. I am not adding these to the calendar....more impromptu in all likelihood.

You must be patient during these rides as I hop around trying to get good shots.

Cheers! - Lee

Hello everyone,

The tour this month is of the Lower West Side which is basically Pilsen, Heart of Chicago and Heart of Italy. You can visit the event page or the photo album to learn and see more about the tour and area.

Thanks for another great tour, Lee! I was particularly pleased to be able to learn about the Hutchinson Street area--I've biked around there many times and have always been curious about it. Wish I could have stayed til the end for drinks with everyone--next time!
