Wow, not only do you hate fun but you are, once again, a generalizing, hateful and insulting jerk.
The reason I go to tractor pulls is that having spent much of my youth on a farm I like antique tractors and like seeing them used in competition; of course I also like to go to Thereshermen's conventions and meets...
For the record I do not appreciate being called a 'yokel.' In fact as somebody from a family with a long background in farming and originating in a rural area I find your use of that term as a way to infer ignorance to be offensive. You do realize that without all the 'yokels' out there running farms and, in their off time, going to tractor pulls you would have a hard time finding much in the way of food to eat.
Maybe I should give up my bike because apparently a simple minded country bumpkin such as myself is not worthy of sharing the bike line with a high minded individual such as yourself.
I swear you may be one of the most ignorant and close minded people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with; is anything ever going to be good enough for you to not disapprove of it?

Mmmm...I'm not so sure. I think the appeal of this fat-tire monstrosity is subversive and insidious....it is the "bigger-is-better" philosophy that has made the SUV so popular, and is why the yokels turn out for tractor-pulls and big-wheel monster-truck obstacle races. And is the reason this thing is generating the immediate interest and approval we see on this thread.
Check out the number of cyclists on the narrow bike lanes in the video...do you think they are amused? Or enjoy seeing this thing coming at them? As I implied in another thread, these guys that enjoy "big tires, big toys" should check their deficiencies in other areas, before trying to compensate for their shortcomings on our roads.

Clark, With the understanding that you have a right to your opinion, I find it interesting that you feel the need to post on the topic that it is subversive and insidious. The idea that "big tires, big toys" should check their deficiencies in other areas' comment is best left unsaid. I happen to be a big fan of SUVs, horsepower, and most motorized modes of transportation. I also happen to be from rural america, holding an Engineering degree from a public Ivy and a MBA from one of the top schools in the nation. Yokels like me make the world go around; not close minded people that slam on others for creating something that they deem fun and outlandish for the sheer enjoyment and challenge.
Why don't you create something that you feel is "worth the public's time" and "advances society" in your eyes, post it for the world to see only to have some other close minded person crap in your cheerios.
Its easier to whine and complain about things that aren't a necessity and you have no use for. Maybe you are the one with deficiencies in other areas since you feel the need to slam someone else's creation to make yourself look righteous and wise. Food for thought.

My first car was a mg midget...so I guess my tiny car was compensating for my gigantic testicles. Which must hurt like hell on a bike, am I right fellas? I'm assuming all the men on the chainlink have monstrous genitalia since they ride such puny and efficient vehicles.

One of these days I'll finally get my hands on a proper short base Econoline and airbrush a mural of it on the side of it. Naturally the van painted on the van will also feature a mural of the van. The theme will continue ad infinitum or until I run out of nozzles small enough.
