If it is stolen inside chicago, we cant rely on the police to help get it back. With people going down to the swap meet yesterday they did the same leg work that the Evanston police did to find these bikes.

Not everyone would just walk past a bike theft in progress without
intervening.

OK so yes drunk what ever but do you have the serial number or any sort of way to identify the bike that you had stolen? Unfortunately I do not have a formal police report or anything directly connecting me to the arrest of the guy cutting the lock with a grinder tonight in lake view. If I can some how sort out if this is the guy that stole your bike I will do my best. Get a hold of me.
