Help - Anyone have a truck and free for a couple hours this Sunday afternoon?

I am going to buy a Trike, and it is out at in McHenry.  I need to pick it up this Sunday afternoon.  I will of course pay for gas and supply you with beer and/or lunch, or I could give you some cash.  Please let me know if you're available, thanks!

Cheers!

I think it's cool that your getting a trike. I picked up a used Mohawk this summer and it still needs some more work, but it is big and funky and fun. It is a nice heavy industrial bike, built to keep going even if a bit slow! Glad it's being brought to you.
It's good that he's willing to deliver it to you. Metra wouldn't be an option. Here's a portion of the text from the Bikes on Trains page from the Metra web site:

3. Standard bicycles not exceeding 70 inches in length will be permitted. Tricycles, tandems, trailers, bulky attachments, training wheels or powered bicycles are prohibited.

Well, I could. Just not so sure about riding it on busy roadways out in the burbs. I did think about trying to getting it on Metra. They don't say anything about no trikes allowed, only recombents. Or, I could where a old gray wig that I have and look like a crazy grandma. That actually might be fun!

bwahahaha.. Great minds brother, great minds..

Amber, why don't you ride it home? The ride from McHenry isn't that bad at all.. While a long ride, making a day of it could be fun..

This post has been up 55 minutes and no response from Marty?
Nope, they did not ban me yet ....
Amber, so you got it covered ? I don't feel like driving all the way out there but Metra will so NO (for sure) don't even try ... $30 bucks is a gift anyway ... Otherwise I have a friend with a pickup truck who would do it for you Sunday. Let me know now via text or a quick call and I will give you his #. his name is Sam, you might know him. 773-343-4500 ....

He said it's been sitting for 6 years and all it needs are new tubes in the rear tires. So, I think I'll take him up on his offer to deliver it to me.
