Do you have a lock-ring?
it's been a while since ive tinkered with it. i believe it does, but i guess ill have to double check on it.

I hope you're not still riding on it in the meantime because a loose cog could irreparably damage the hub. A chain whip won't be necessary (you can tighten the cog with the wheel still on the bike) but you'll definitely need a lock ring wrench.

is anyone saying hub/cog but mean bottom bracket/chainring? ill look at it this weekend and see if i need any additional help. thanks everybody.
