How many of you know about Open Streets Oak Forest and the Oak Forest Fleadh?  I haven't really explored out there, and it sounds like a cool excuse to go.  Cicero Ave. will be closed to car traffic from 159th to 151st between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., then there's a parade, trails to explore, etc.  Who's in?

Sounds good to me.
Anne,

I'm interested - especially the trails to explore part. Do you have any recommendations on how to get down there from the North Side, either by CTA, Metra and/or bike?
I'll go with you Anne....riding my Tikit. Let's make this work, sounds like a great time.
On Metra, you'd take the Rock Island from LaSalle St. station to Oak Forest. The festival area is close to the Oak Forest Metra station.

I'll have to get back to you on a suggestion for a CTA + bike route.

Thanks. No need to map it out for me as long as I know it's by the Oak Forest Metra station. I'll figure out a route for the long haul.
