As the weather is getting colder and colder I find myself more and more getting frostbutt. Any good suggestions for keeping the tooshie warm in the saddle on those frigid days?

I've been keeping track for the past two years on Google Documents. ... I know it sounds like a ton of work but I have some awesome data stored ...
... Yes, this may confirm for some that I am truly insane ...

I am just so happy to find someone else that has an insane appreciation of the joy of awesome data sets for daily personal trivia. I have almost the same kind of data set, albeit in an Excel spreadsheet. I'm going to have to explore the Google Docs angle.

Yes, I am a data geek that also bikes. Good thing I'm already married, because I'm sure I'd otherwise be fighting off the chicks.
i ask passerbys to spank me, that gets the blood rushing towards my buttocks.

when i'm alone, i just spank myself
Haven't tried this on the bike but a layer of closed cell foam (aka ensolite-bad spell) works wonderfully in other cold weather situations (like sitting around the camp fire) so I don't see why it wouldn't work on your seat. Now will it work best shoved down your pants or bungied to the seat....?
Great band name. ;)

But back to the topic at hand....or butt....I use a gel seat and fenders and I've never had the problem. The seat warms up quickly and stays comfortable.

Let it be known that the term "Frostbutt" was coined on this day of the lord December 17, 2009, by MARK on thechainlink.org.
Does anyone have dibbs on "Frostbutt" for a band name? My death polka band has been been nameless since its inception (about four seconds ago).
