You can visit these two chain stores Bike Shop Austin and Bicycle Sport Shop. I think you should research carefully when buying a used bike and then go to the store to have a look to make the best choice.

There is also The Recyclery in Rogers Park. A non profit educational bike shop. We sell used bikes, used parts, offer open shop for do it yourself bike repair and teach classes on bike mechanics.
Only limited hours: Wednesday, Thursday 7pm - 9pm and Saturday 10am - 2pm.
