An Asheville, N.C. cyclist was punched in the face by a motorist on 9-27-17.
The cyclist had the right to use the full lane.
He suffered a bloody nose, a busted lip and tooth pain.
The driver, Claude Donald Watson was charged with assault on 9-29-17.
The only words spoken by the driver in this incident was, "Get off the f#*$%@☆ road!"
One of the comments in the section after this story gave some wise advice. A cyclist said, "If a driver ever comes out of the vehicle at me, I'm off the bike and ready . . ."

It is hopeful to think the driver will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but it seems those judges will be lenient in favor of the driver because they all drive anyways.
