Very clever idea... That said, I think I'd be afraid the "Skunk Lock" would skunk up my bike if the lock was cut. :-(

I suppose that might happen, but I'd rather thoroughly scrub down my bike than not have a bike to thoroughly scrub!

Just read this too.  Nice!

So when somebody locks their wheel without security skewers and someone takes off with the bike the lock is left with the wheel attached......

I would be very skeptical about that not leaving you open to a lawsuit...

The company says they have verified it's legal everywhere they intend to sell the lock.
I sent them a note asking about performance in temperature extremes, especially of the seals, but of the chemicals as well. No word back yet.

I am wildly skeptical of their claim.

One bad allergic reaction and there is a problem.

Never mind that things being legal in no way prevents you from being sued.
