Thanks for your comment! I know there are dutch bike shops in Chicago. We started with the export of a classic dutch bike brand named Union and I'm trying to see what's going on in several bike cities! We believe Copenhagen Cyclery could be a great partner for us.

OK, I saw a ride that goes on Saturday but yeah, something tells me that on Saturday we may be indoors. If you train during the week, maybe we could work something out. I'm a bit intimidated by the whole team talk. But I could pick up my game.

Yes, my primary bike is an early 80's Schwinn Continental fixie conversion. I kind of love it, but it is a bit heavy. I'm casually looking around for something a bit lighter - but not so fancy as to be expensive - in other words another $50 or $100 old bike to convert. I also have an early 80's Trek 500 road bike which I use for the occasional tour or when the Schwinn is on the operating table or whatever.

re: my blurry icon, it says Waystn Cycles. But Hasty or Waysted or whatever would be funnier! The shop sticker if from the store the bike came from I guess. The sticker is long gone or I'd take a better shot of it. Here is a bit more info about the shop.
