Looking back at the comments, I think my suggestion and clarifications on my suggestion have been misunderstood. My suggestion was always to do the *weekend* blitzes more frequently than once per month, in addition to doing the school blitzes (school blitzes were a separate matter, which Aaron brought up).

What did people think of my idea of doing the weekend blitzes more frequently (every other weekend or every weekend)? Also, my list of locations for those (aside from Andersonville)?

FYI - tonight is a Ride of Silence route planning meeting. Hope you can join us:

http://www.thechainlink.org/events/ride-of-silence-route-planning-m...

We will be discussing the route options - same as last year, the possibility of 2 routes - one north and one south, or having a route the begins and ends at Daley Plaza.

Meeting Details:

Thursday, April 4, from 6-7:30 pm.

We will meet at the Corner Bakery on the 2nd level of Ogilvie

Any chance we could do Andersonville (my hood) next weekend or the 27th, when I'm available?

Re handing out flyers at Metra stations, I have done so without issues at Union Square (didn't try others), but not for a few years.

Hey Katie - My morning availability varies and I also don't know which schools would be best, so I probably shouldn't be involved with organizing one of those events. It seemed like Aaron had some ideas for schools at our Wrigleyville bar meeting a couple months ago, and brought the idea up here again, so maybe he's the best person for that.  I can help organize some of the weekend blitzes (but not this weekend - it was the only one listed on the Doodle that I could not make, because I have an all-afternoon anti-drone warfare protest downtown that I have helped organize).

Great news on all accounts -

We are flyering this SATURDAY the 6th. Let's do Andersonville and potentially Lincoln Square this week.

Pam - can you organize the mid-week morning flyering at a School in April and May? (I really like the idea of two flyering events per month while we are in the pick up of Spring biking)

Jeff/Garth - can you private message me your address and I will mail you some flyers for distribution? Jeff, I don't know the rules about handing out flyers at Metras - anyone have good ideas?

And I can hand them out here in the 'burbs!
