I saw bicycle tire tracks in the snow.
I followed them to see where they go.
I slide over bridges, skated steel rails,
And I did not fall nor break a nail.
Let it snow, let it blow, let us rock and roll
in the windy white city called Chicago!

Side streets in Hyde Park-Kenwood are dicey today because of the slippery compacted layers of snow made by automobiles. We need a name for this nasty stuff. Any suggestions?
The guys at Iron Cycles kicked some serious ass today by opening their doors to me a little early to let me get a replacement wheel this morning so I could kick up some powder today. Thanks for teh sweet rim and great service guys! www.iron-cycles.com

Last night's Snow Ride was a success, in spite of arriving at the Handlebar to find it closed. Ample snow was available and two new potential meeting spots were discovered, to the joy of all.
