It’s Hot!
By Shel Silverstein

It’s hot!
I can’t get cool,
I’ve drunk a quart of lemonade,
I think I’ll take my shoes off
And sit around in the shade.

It’s hot!
My back is sticky,
The sweat rolls down my chin.
I think I’ll take my clothes off
And sit around in my skin.

It’s hot!
I’ve tried with ‘lectric fans,
And pools and ice cream cones.
I think I’ll take my skin off
And sit around in my bones.

It’s still hot!

I miss bundling up...

Why is it that when we ride in the heat, folks feel sorry for our "suffering" and when we ride in the cold, folks think we are insane?

As much as I hate the heat I can't complain because after a couple of months of cold and snow I hate that too.

I'm basically a 'grass is greener' kinda guy apparently.

Bring the snow! I have my Nokians mounted up on the spare rims ready to roll.

Bring in the snow!!!! Nothing better than a ride when it's snowy.
Can't say I will miss the heat and humidity.
Hell you could be riding naked and still feel the damn heat.
Snowy weather allows for more liberty to layer up and be nice and warm while riding.

You're gonna be in hog heaven tomorrow if these prognosticators are right.

When I walk outside - I rarely use a/c - and feel like I am swimming because it is so humid, oh yeah.

Give me a break this heat and humidity barely lasts for a month but you'll have your cold weather for the next ten months. I really need to live on the equator, y'all.

I used to commute in the snow. Last year was the very first that I did not. Can't say I missed that crap.
