As far as Irish music goes. Dervish is a great band. Saw them at the Old town school of folk music a long time ago. Great band!

Oh, and dont forget the Cheiftains.

Christy Moore, Sinead O'Connor, The Saw Doctors, The Poagues, Clannad, Lorenna McKennitt, Karen Casey. Are you guys still going to be out at say 11pm or is everyone going to bed early? The bottle of Whiskey and the Bodhran are calling to me.

Ok, I'll hunt for the suggestions and report what I find.

What about Irish rebel music? I'm not a fan of the IRA but I do think a little anti-empire sentiment is healthy.

Irish songs: let's see.....When Irish Eyes are Smiling, Danny Boy, (An Irish Lullaby, Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ra, Molly Malone, It's A Long Way to Tipperary, just a few of old traditional songs I believe. Hopefully we can get a nice mix of traditional, old and new music. :-)
