Increased heavy fine for riding on sidewalk on Sheridan Road

In light of this attack on bicyclists on Sheridan Road, are we going to ride up and down Sheridan Road on Friday, 9/13?
It seems like it would be worthwhile, taking the lane.

What kind of "attack"? An increased fine for riding on sidewalks? We should applaud this move. Riding on sidewalks, especially in that area, endangers pedestrians. IMO, that area of Sheridan Rd is not an appropriate route for bike traffic. The parallel streets, Winthrop and Kenmore, I believe, are the designated bike routes.
