Sorry it's not a happy theme, but I'm getting REEEEEEEEEEALLLLLLLY (timesinfinitysquared) tired and ashamed of the wars. I'd even venture that any large scale opportunity for action, not used to that end, makes the participants complicit in not ending them. There is no greater priority. Yes, CCM=not political, but isn't ending wars beyond politics, and more about being evolved sane humans? How about a hybrid idea such as an "underwear for peace" ride.

July 30th Chicago Critical Mass Underwear ride. Low-res iPhone video of entire mass, fairly early on 7:34pm.

Glad that you had mentioned this! August is the greatest month! Why you say? Well I tell you on a KARAOKE RIDE! That's right is karaoke WiFi again, But this time Todd may have a surprise for all of us.
Just the fact that we have Karaoke while riding our bikes! How much more better does that get! Can I get a Whoot! !! Whoot! !! So if you never been on a North ~ Side Critical Mass ride now is the time to embrace the greatest moment in history !

Hey everyone. There was a problem with the notes. My battery died in the middle of taking them and the file was corrupt. I just not go around to re-building it. It's what I get for using OpenOffice. Here are the notes! http://bit.ly/cpWouc

Some errata:
Save Our Schools route should be attributed to Mark Paye and Jackson Potter as well.
Ghandi Ride originally attributable to Rita Walther.

Thanx! It used to be absent, then burried, but a while ago I made it the top line under the main "Cycling Links" tab.
http://chicagocriticalmass.org/links

Reminded by recent discussions, I just added a link to the formerly burried "compiled route development notes from veterans" page I assembled a few months back, under the "Get Involved" page. Good stuff:
http://ChicagoCriticalMass.org/routedev

I've also just now restored the listserv join box (left sidebar), which had somehow disappeared (been set unpublished). I further noted that the CCM archive at UIC linked from there seems to have gone dead, so I added a link to its Yahoo mirror.

Finally, proactively, I re-enabled the "Warning from the Chicago Police Department" sideblock from May 2009.

Cool? Feedback?

Dave Z's maps haunt me as well. One I believe was voted down at ride and not ridden.

I'm not talking about a link to your site, but rather making this an official part of the unofficial official website. ; )

Thanks Andrew, I use this archive as a reference all the time. My favorite is still the full moon by Dave Z. I wish you had a higher quality version.

And again, why the hell is this not on the CCM website? I know that there is a link hidden somewhere but IMO I think it should be visible on the front page called "Map Archive" or something.

What say you, Critical Mass discussion group?
