I've posted a pretty sweet vid from Friday's Underwear Mass:

Great H, thanks, I already caught the Oakley cul de sac mess, and was planning to do exactly what you advised.  Thanks for the 16th street tip too.

BTW I like the Pilsen portion. They changed 19th street not too long ago to be one-way Westbound by the Mexican museum, so you're good.

Oh-- also consider taking Halsted to 16th to Racine instead of Halsted to 18th to Racine-- otherwise that little jog to 19th/Ashland will not do much to take the heat off 18th street (Ashland is visible from Racine so the back of the mass will probably just fast-forward.)

Hey folks,

I looked at the proposed map in the July Derailleur and saw one problem-- the connection from Roosevelt to Oakley. There are curb cuts but it's going to be kind of a mess due to the cul-de-sac. And it's going to be next to impossible for straggler groups to find. And probably even the folks in front.

You might want to substitute: North on Western, East on Taylor, North on Oakley; or Northeast on Ogden, West on Taylor, North on Oakley.

Oh and I loved the ride but it was a tad chilly for someone 'dressed' as naked.  ha ha  And I met someone super-cool....I love CM!

I was corking a typical 'type A' personality who was trying to bully her bmw thru the bikes and she started to move, ie, drive into me and my leg started going under her bumper....the crowd (and I)gasped and yelled, luckily, and she stopped.  Then a few seconds later cops rolled up and told me to move on...I was grateful because I felt like bashing her face in...but didn't want to.  I sure hope the cops didn't stop the bikes to let her go!!!!

The ride was nice.  I was glad the rain held off.  The police were fine.  I saw two of them make a biker dump her beer.  It seemed like cars at some intersections were creeping into the Mass more than usual.  The police were telling the "corkers" to move on.  It was great riding on the freshly-repaved Michigan Avenue.

Nothing at all unusual about the police presence.

I saw no more cops then usual, and no instances of conflict or anything. My group did break off kind of early though. It was a lot of fun. The Halloween ride rules!
