Yeah I do have the Nort~Side Critical Mass, But there is nothing wrong with having more. Plus we are in need of something new either direction &/or sprit in this C.C.M ride or it's going self- distruck . ..
I agree we need a new direction and north aint it. There is a lot more to this city than Wicker park, Humbolt Park, North Ave Beach, Lincoln Sq. and Montrose, and for the past 4 years thats where we go most of the time. Like I said before it's getting boring. .. What about Beverly, Hyde Park, Lawndale, Mckinley Park, Mt. Greenwood, Marquett Park Brighton Park, Back of The Yards, just to name a few hoods we never hit...

Howard,

I did say "Of course there is always room for competition..."

"Our" would be those organizations and riders who I have reached out to who would like to collaborate with each other in effort to create a map going to Pilsen (or somewhere South of Chicago) in solidarity with the May Day march. I specifically choose to reach out to members of the Pilsen community who have on some level been associated with biking and have a strong connection to labor politics.

Does this make me "the decider?" On many levels, yes, for more reasons than just because I deliberately excluded some groups and individuals from my invite. And of course I realize that I do not have any special legitimacy to "invite" people to participate in the Mass since everyone has the same level of authority.

Anarchist systems do not lack leadership they create, decentralize or abolish leadership based on the need of any given project. There exists a route plan/idea that I came up with. I am putting my weight behind it and am rallying support to accomplish my goal. That goal being a ride created by Pilsen community groups in Solidarity with May Day. If someone doesn't like the goal, the map or that I am behind it then do what any good Anarchist would do.

"Hey were is Spencer anyways?"
I was doing work last night, http://jailjonburge.org/. Now I just need to get our coalition to start posting content. THAT IS THE HARDEST PART OF A WEBSITE!

Just to keep ya'll in the loop I have made some contacts with various groups two of which are regularly invested CCM riders but have never had anything to do with planning. It's looking like our April 30th plan will in fact be Southward bound. Of course there is always room for competition. Ideally these folk will do everything and I'll not be needed.
