Why must we head south when its warm? Is the Northside warmer in the winter and spring? Or is it you northsiders dont want to ride 10 miles in the cold to get home? I dont mind heading up to Devon but lets wait till it gets warm, see how lame that sounds... I mean hell I ride 10 to 15 miles to get back from the northside in the winter why cant you... I call Lazy shenanigans! And for the record we went south twice last year...

Yeah , so tell me this ! How many rides last summer when south vs. north ? Has there ever been this ride go north or south for 1 yr straight . Ok Hector, so bring C.C.M. To the South side in the warm weather . I've never seen C.C.M. Go to Jefferson Park , etc.

Andrew, why isn't that archive on the Critical Mass website? Seems like the obvious place for it.

Somebody look back on the records/picture files and do a survey of the rides and locations over the last 12/24 months and post it here.

Or on the CCM email list.

Comment by Spencer "Thunderball" Thayer! "Maybe we should have that meeting..."

Didn't we used to have a regular CCM Happy Hour? A meeting on the 2nd Friday of every month?

To me, it seems as if the North Side has more attractive streets and places to ride. This isn't anything against the south side, it's just like the way the city itself has somewhat ignored the south side for some time.

Besides, we don't always follow the map anyway. There's plenty more northsiders to hijack the ride!

I'm with Hector and Chuck too. It would be nice to see a couple South side rides in a row.

No offense Tony but I'm with Chuck. I think a South Side end destination is due. There are so many neighborhoods ignored by CCM. I'm a North Sider but I would like to see mass go to Hyde Park or any of the other hoods Chuck mentioned. My vote is "Go South Side Ride"

Howard,

I think you're being way too dramatic. ; ) And it certainly isn't very useful to anyone on the Chainlink to read our lovers-spat so how about we table this discussion. Maybe we should have that meeting in person or create a new discussion here in the CCM group. You and I certainly see things differently.

Tony & Chuck,

You guys are debating over the March 25th ride, right? I like both of your ideas and look forward to seeing what ride we take on the 30th! If ya'll are talking about the April 30th ride I look forward to competing with ya'll. : )

Anyone,

If ya'll are interested in working on the April 30th ride to Pilsen give me an email at me@spencerthayer.com. After I hear back from everyone I'll try and setup a meeting or at the very least create a mailing list to talk about it.
