Anyone up for a pre-ride? I forgot my office closes at 3 and since I won't have enough time to go home, was thinking of cruising around the LFP before Daley Plaza

Jami, thanks for making a map. I like the concept. I think the wedding ceremony is supposed to be at 6:30 so this ought to take us by somewhere near the conclusion, assuming we get underway reasonably on time.

I expect to be down at the plaza early and would like to help pass out your maps. And if there are multiple maps I'll offer up my PA system to conduct a vote.

In fairness when I got my Badboy I purchased some regular old Park Tools grease and oil. Cause I was paranoid. But as soon as those things run out (which they are about to before the summer really kicks in) I'll be going back to organic compounds and never looking back.

Awesomeness... I only wish I could attend. Maybe I will but not likely.

And about the vegi-oil, seriously it works. I used to do it with my Marin and I had that since I was 15 and NEVER changed any of the components. Sure it was a beater but I kept it running. Then it got stolen in my basement and I was sad. But that's not the point- the point is organic compounds do make very good lubrication solutions. They may break down a little quicker than petrol based products but if you love your bike you're fondling it all the time anyway.

Thanks to Aaron for doing the heavy lifting tomorrow on making the route even better. This might be a long ride, but I think it's going to be great.

Do you have your TP?

Cardozo's Pub, 170 W Washington, just 2 blocks west of the Plaza, super convenient for pre drinks and last pee. By Dunkin Donuts, in a basement, also has chow, sports TVs, and a Marlin on the wall.

What about lighting dog poop on fire at the station entrance? My dogs create a LOT! ; )

But seriously folks, where is the best bar nearest Daley Plaza to pregame?

No idea if this route will be anywhere near acceptable.

Another thing that I'm not condoning, but could be funny would be if people brought Toilet Paper and TPed BP.

Of course, the people running the stations are probably the ones who would have to clean it up, but eh...it would be an interesting statement.
