What a great ride!  Kudos to whoever drew the map and made the route.  Who did make the map? It was like the 'old days' where there were no long stretches, the mass stayed "massed up" and it really was more like a-ride-not-a-race.

Not many pictures and just one short video.

A highlight:  Peter showed up on this three-wheeler!  We haven't seen him for months, he said he had problems with the bearings on his bicycle.  But it was good to see him out again and joining us a Delay Plaza.

<3 U BK!  Bikes fight terrorism.  Every mile driven costs soldier blood and orphan tears.

America isn't a democracy, it is a Kleptocracy! Everybody is encouraged to be a little lawless. Our laws are arbitrarily enforced and "Justice" is whimsically dispensed. Giant Corporation are paid to collapse the banking system and crap in the Gulf.

We tell every person there are no limits... no boundaries.... no limit to what they can do.... That they all should swaggar.... There. Now. Let's all have a civilization!

Results:
Sit for 20 minutes at ANY traffic control device, and, if you survive the cross-fire, you will have seen hundreds of cyclists and motorists scofflaw!

Cars are State Sponsored Socialism for Business and Medicine! 20,000+ motorists killed yearly? More than terrorism!!!. The Eisenhower i290 represents a river of unpaid banking/debt. Cars are every thing that Is killing the environment, stealing joy and free-time and making people obese.

Critical Mass for a couple of hours, once a month, does what cars do every waking minute of every day:

Kleptocracy.

There is much now to this website that has become mostly about carbon-fibre, lycra and high-end competition advocacy. As soon as folks start talking about "community" minds doors begin to slam shut, as that word has become a PC way to be exclusive'and really an advocate ultimately only for some.

Hey!... Next Chainlink event... Look for the jackass riding a rusty coaster break bike!... They may be wearing regular shorts and a t-shirt. Weirdo.

Aaron, my bad.  Thanks for standing up for Fun-Da-Mentals.  The Facebook group of >111 long time massers (formerly known as the secret cabal) is *specifically* called the "forecast crew" ;)

I always get a smile on my face when a group that has no formal leaders, rules, agenda is discussed in the context of planning.

There is only one rule for CCM -

an·ar·chy
ˈanərkē/
noun
  1. a state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority.

We really just haven't publically addressed the group for a while....someone should just bring a REALLY LOUD BULLHORN in July and Juan or I can hit our airhorns and we can huddle up and explain the do's and dont's of the group B4 we take off from the plaza...proper planning prevents poor performance..!!.Clarity..!! let's just get everyone on the same page pre ride and everything will be fine.....:-)

I agree BK, loss of basic skills is coming up repeatedly as a root cause.  Doesn't help that the main website's been down for years.

Discussion about mass *planning* has moved to Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/ccmxv/

But discussion of the most recent incident is at http://www.thechainlink.org/forum/topics/gun-pulled-on-critical-mas...

Yeah the cops were on lunch break right on that corner when that guy decided to get out of his car and go to the trunk for a gun. They were right on his ass!
